Implicit, in Windows Vista si Windows 7, dimensiunea pictogramelor (iconitelor) este setata la valoarea Medium (medie). Pe monitoarele cu rezolutie ridicata, acestea apar prea mari si sunt in contrast cu calitatea elementelor vizuale. De asemenea, prea multe pictograme (iconite) incarca desktop-ul si ingreuneaza munca.
