How to display TM code in ascii? I’ve try ALT+8482. But it doesn’t work :(

    • #2 by catalin.boja on September 3rd, 2010

      Hi Majalah,

The 8482 decimal value represents the code for the trade mark symbol in the HTML 4.01 specifications.
For ASCII you can use the extended ASCII codes (character code 128-255, also known as ISO Latin-1).
The trade mark sign has the decimal code 153 or 99 hex value.
So if you want to display it, you can use a hex editor (I use HxD – Hexeditor) to open the document and insert the 99 hexadecimal value.

Now, I have observed that the table in the post is missing the characters from 128 to 150. I am sorry for that and I will update the info.
